Alan M. Turing (Alan Mathison ). He born in London on 23 June 1912. Alan was English mathematician as well as logician. He made major contributions to mathematics, logic ,cryptanalysis, philosophy, and biology and to the new areas later named computer science, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and artificial life. Alan Turing studied mathematics at Cambridge University.
